  GARY D. WEINER, representing himself as a licensed real estate appraiser from Jersey Capital Appraisal, SCAMMED us out of $850. He was hired to appraise two properties and agreed to deliver appraisal reports within 3 days. He asked money upfront on the very first day we met before looking at the properties. He didn't even take measurements . He cashed the check the very same day. 20 days later, no reports were ever sent to anybody. During that time, we had try to call him on a daily basis with little response. When he did respond, he would lie that he delivered the reports and then brushed us off quickly. No explanation or apologies for the delay in producing the reports were offered. BEWARE OF THIS FRAUD AND CHARLATAN! He will sound sweet, soft, and knowledgeable when you first talk to him but once he takes your money, that's it. If you ask for a receipt, you won't get one. If you ask for a business card, he'll give you a tattered photocopy of his information. If you still want to hire this guy, do yourself a favor and PLEASE check with the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs and the licensing board for NJ Real Estate Appraisers.
